Halala Coal as a black owned and managed business pride itself in landing a hand of help to the communities we operate from by empowering the community both collective and individual members. We do most of our business and forge relationship with local businesses in the company. All our transport contracts are supplied by local businesses and we have 95% local labour force policy. Our staff is 100% PDI, 20% Women, and 50% youth, we also provide skills development for our staff and contractors. We have empowered SMME’s, and all our current service providers are SMME’s in their industries, from Accounting Firm, Legal Firm, Logistic company as well as local coal trading agents.
